Two-time graduate of the University of Missouri, with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Occupational Therapy (1998) and a Master of Special Education with an emphasis in Autism (2009).
Sample is a Doctor of Occupational Therapy having worked for the University of Missouri Columbia, Jefferson City Public Schools, and currently an Associate Professor for Cox College.
Chair of the Columbia Disabilities Commission and President of the Missouri Occupational Therapy Association (MOTA).
Sample previously served on the Climate and Environment Commission and the Vision Commission. She previously ran for Missouri House District 44 in 2020.
Has lived in Columbia, Missouri since 1994 (31 years) and Ward 3 since 2015 (10 years).
Sample lives in Ward 3 with her husband, two boys, two dogs, and a bearded dragon.
Improving accessibility to and community engagement in city spaces, city services, affordable housing, and safe neighborhoods.
Supporting and expanding active, safe and purposeful engagement in youth activities as well as outreach to youth interested in public service.
